The world’s most luxurious treasure hunt, Diamond Rush 2015 is here! A real-life jewel giveaway!

Beards, one of Gloucestershire’s most distinguished and well-known jewelers, are giving diamonds away for the second year running. The Cheltenham store will be the starting point for the treasure hunt on October 17th 2015. Contestants will be receive maps and clues to lead them to the location of the strategically hidden diamonds.

Established in 1804, and famous for exquisite designer jewelry and Swiss-made watches such as Gucci, Kiki McDonough, Georg Jensen, Montblanc, Lalique and Stephen Webster, Beard’s have sparked much attention with their unusual giveaway. Last year all of the hidden treasure was found within four hours. It even sparked a marriage proposal live on BBC Radio Gloucestershire!

The 2015 Diamond Rush, in aid of the cancer charity Maggie’s, has gained much attention and kudos since successfully raising of thousands of pounds in 2014. Ironic given that last year, there were reports that Cheltenham folk held back from entering as they thought a diamond giveaway was simply too good to be true and therefore a ruse.

Momentum has already begun for the 2015 Diamond Rush; the event is enjoying much exposure, and the prizes total a whopping £4,000 more than last year. A single diamond worth a cool £5,000 will be hidden in Cheltenham, alongside nine other diamonds, each valued at a not-to-be-sniffed-at £1,000.
