Oxford University's amazing a cappella rendition of "All I Want For Christmas is You."

Need some holiday cheer? Try Oxford University’s amazing a cappella rendition of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas is You.”

Within three days, the video has already amassed more than 100,000 views.

The Students have recorded their own Glee-style version of the Christmas classic, showing off their tight tailored trousers and camp dance moves – to try and raise as much money as possible for Oxford children’s charity, Helen & Douglas House.

Singer Joel Fisher said: “We sing because we love to sing, and have a lot of fun with it.”

Filmed entirely on the Oxford campus, Harry Potter movie fans will recognize the background scenery as the primary filming locations for the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The a cappella group even got special permission to film inside the world renown Bodleian Library of Oxford, including the beautiful Old Schools’ Quad and the Divinity School.

Joel added: “We got a lot of funny looks from people walking past when we were filming, but we love all that.

“It’s a laugh for us, and if we can raise some money for a fantastic and very worthy cause, then we feel we should.

“We’re going to tweet our video to Mariah, so fingers crossed she’ll get back to us.”

Out of the Blue put together the arrangement and the music video to promote the Helen & Douglas House charity. The charity provides support for families requiring children hospice care in the U.K.
