Rugby For Heroes – Thank The Forces. Consort News April 6, 2020 Charity, Featured News THANK THE FORCES Showing support for armed forces personnel on the frontline fighting COVID-19. The Armed Forces have been playing a leading role in tackling the ongoing coronavirus pandemic with 20,000 military personnel on standby as part of the COVID Support Force. A large focus of the military’s work so far has been helping the NHS in delivering personal protective equipment (PPE) to frontline staff, driving oxygen tankers and building temporary field hospitals. Rugby For Heroes are launching a video campaign to thank the forces, recognising their selfless dedication to their jobs and the people they serve. Charity patrons, Mike Tindall and Nick Knowles, feature in this short video paying thanks to the NHS and the military. Ambassadors Amy Williams and Julian Lewis Jones also add their words of support. View this post on Instagram ""You guys are out there on the front line every day, supporting us as a nation…" 'Thank you' won't ever be enough, but right now it's the only way to let our forces know how grateful we are.
