Sephora Venites

Sephora Venites is a brazilian born actress and model of diverse background, with musical training during childhood by the Conservatory Renato Frateschi, working in multiple mediums later in life, mentored by Brazilian plastic artist Sandra Castro, exploring costume design during training at the Institut Català de la Moda, in Barcelona, Spain, and Performing Arts at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, a traditional conservatory in the city of Los Angeles,CA. In Brazil, she worked with the acclaimed Iranian writer Nassim Soleimanpour, of ‘White Rabbit, Red Rabbit’ play, as well as directors like the Argentinian Alejandro Catalán and the actor and writer Márcio Mehiel, to name a few. As a model, Sephora was photographed by photographers like Clive Arrowsmith; appeared in fashion magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel, Elle, FASHION JAPAN 25ans, was the cover of books like ‘The Little Black Dress’ and featured various commercial campaigns worldwide for brands like Garnier, Nivea and Storm Watches. She has walked the catwalks for brands such as Cartier, Gucci, Custo Barcelona, G-Star, at On/Off London Fashion Week, was model of Betsey Johnson’s clothing during Paris fashion week, and continues to collaborate with the Brazilian fashion designer Douglas Harris, among others. Sephora appeared in the TV series Mr. Selfridge (2013), and film credits include the independent feature film ‘Liquid Love’ (2015) by the Brazilian director Victor Steinberg, loosely based on the book of the Polish sociologist Zygmunt Bauman, and the recent adaptation of Hedda Gabler, by Director Matthew John. In 2014, Sephora made her debut as a television presenter hosting the programme ‘Cena Londres’, a brazilian production by director Marcia Leite for Canal Bis, exploring and covering the London music scene.
