Dick Van Dyke To Star In Feature Film, Capture The Flag

Hollywood icon Dick Van Dyke, star of Bye Bye Birdie, Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Fitzwilly is returning to the big screen forCapture The Flag.

Capture The Flag is based upon the Emmy winning short Reveille, a dramatic comedy about two elderly veterans who compete in a continuous game of one-upmanship over “who gets to raise the flag” in their local retirement community. Alongside Dick Van Dyke, the upcoming feature will star already attached talent Barry Corbin, Louis Gossett Jr., John Amos, Rance Howard and Paul Dooley.

Capture The Flag is being produced by Brothers’ Ink Productions, www.Brothers-Ink.com, led by brothers Donovan and Adam Montierth. To date, Brothers Ink Productions has released six highly successful shorts, including the award winning Reveille and A.W.O.L. According to their website and IMDB, Brothers’ Ink Productions are slated to release five upcoming feature films between now and 2018.

As it pertains to Capture The Flag, Dick Van Dyke was recently stated, “I gotta do this! You’ve gotta convince them to let me do this – this is one of the best scripts I’ve read in 10 years.”
