The Break A Leggers review the sold out prodouction of When We Have Sufficiently Tortured Each Other at the Dorfman, National Theatre on London’s South Bank. This new play by Martin Crimp, receiving it’s world première production explores the messy, violent nature of desire and the complicated roles that men and women play. Adapted from the controversial Samuel Richardson novel, Pamela, six characters act out a dangerous game of sexual domination and resistance. Director Katie Mitchell assembles a stellar cast including Hollywood a-list STAR Cate Blanchett making her National Theatre debut alongside Tony and Emmy Award winning actor, and star of Game of Thrones, Stephen Dillane.
